Wearing Style: Demi in ‘Blushing Pink’ (45 other color options)

It’s no secret that being a bridesmaid can get to be quite the expensive and time consuming commitment. But – coming from a girl who’s been a bridesmaid in 7 weddings over the last few years… I confidently say there aren’t too many friendship badges more honorable than the fact that one of your best girls asked you to stand at her side on her most important day.

It’s an honor, a memorable experience, and a fun night to get all dressed up and party with the people you love. Here are some of my tips for when it comes to bridesmaid dresses, hair, and accessorizing…

Bridesmaid Hairstyle Ideas

Here are some of my favorite bridesmaid hairstyle ideas I’ve used for past weddings. All the way down, half up, braidstyles, topknots, etc (pin this collage with the top left button on the image when you hover to refer to later!):

I love the idea of adding a flower crown, flower comb, or baby’s breath to your hair to compliment the brides bouquet. This is a gorgeous crown made by my friend Allison from Crowning Event makes the prettiest bouquets, crowns, and other hair accessories for brides & bridesmaids here in Chicago, find her here online and on IG here.

Bridesmaid Accessory Ideas

I love BHLDN for accessories for both the bridesmaids & the bride…

Bridesmaid Dresses

Let’s be honest. How many times have you actually worn the bridesmaid dress again? I think we can all agree a bridesmaid dress is USUALLY a one-time dress. So, we’re looking for something pretty and well made that doesn’t break the bank. The pink dress I’m wearing above is from the Azazie Collection and is the collection we wore for my best friend’s wedding this year. They offer complementary custom sizing, the dresses are gorgeous, and the price point is awesome.

Custom info: They offer a free custom fit option! Which means they customize your bust/waist/hip areas to fit your measurements. They also adjust the length according to your height and your heel preference, easing the burden of some of your post-purchase alterations. AMAZING right? And so ideal for my fellow petites who are constantly altering dresses.

Hope you enjoyed my bridesmaid tips! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

Love this post as a future bride! Do you have any recommendations for bridal shower or rehearsal dinner outfits that aren’t outrageously expensive? I’d love to see a post about that! I’ve seen people wear white and not where white for these occasions so I’m not sure what’s trendy. Thanks!
