One simple thing I look forward to all week is waking up slowly on Sunday morning. Sunday’s really the only day during the week I don’t feel pressure to get up and get things going right away, which means no early meetings, no getting ready, and no pants.. woohoo! I think one of the biggest steps towards personal contentment is figuring out the little things in life that make you happy – and then repeating them.

Your day starts off based on the attitude you wake up with, so I made this post to hopefully get yours started in the right direction. Take it slow this morning, stay in your comfy bed a little longer, and take in these random internet gems to start your day off right:

1. before you do anything, watch this video of toddlers arguing. I lol’d..

a quote about being flexible..

a quote about not holding back on love..

a quote to give you some perspective..

a devotional message to start your morning..

find out what’s happening in the world..

I found that if I don’t do this first thing in the morning, I won’t do it at all. My favorite way to learn about what’s going on in the world is to read the Skimm – my favorite source for news. They send you a briefing e-mail every morning at 5:00 AM – easy to read, informative, and usually sarcastic.

happy sunday xo! ps: I updated all my shop widgets on the right side of my homepage (or bottom of my site if you’re on mobile) & under my shop tab at the top of my website last night!

I loved reading this this morning. The quote about change is so applicable to my life right now. That devotional was so great. Do you have a specific devotional book you recommend?

    Xo,

I absolutely love this whole post! Especially the Christ filling our cups devotional 💕🙌🏻 I love that when he is the center of our life everything else seems to be a little more balanced and easier to manage. When we lean on him he gives us strength and no matter how long we’ve been away from him it’s never too late to return in an instant, for he is standing there waiting with open arms! 💕💕

So true – everything always seems more clear once my relationship with Him is a priority. Thanks so much for taking the time to read and leave a message Keri!
