In FASHION, TRAVEL

With New York Fashion Week less than a week away, I stopped in to see my girls at Trunk Club to finish putting a few outfits together for the shows and events I have during my trip. I’m meeting up with a bunch of my good friends in NYC – Lexi of Styled Grey and another my other Chicago girls, Caitlin, Ali, and Cara. Follow along next week on Instagram + snapchat as we take you through a week of NYFW craziness and hope this gives you a little winter-to-spring transitional outfit inspiration!

Classic LBD with a twist..

This sunburst-cut neckline and topstitched tailoring makes this a sharp and sophisticated option for cocktail parties, shows, or even a black tie event. I’m thinking about wearing this one to the Jonathan Simkhai show.

Casual Street Style..

This outfit is comfortable and pretty casual – perfect for meetings or running around town with the girls. Let’s talk about these OTK boots for sec. I KNOW they are expensive, but I cannot believe how well they fit (even my 4’11” frame) and how comfortable they are. They don’t slide down on your leg at all and you can wear them with so many different outfits. They’re worth it I think 😉 The gucci belt – valentino studs – and stuart boots make quite the trio!

Feminine & Professional..

Well Valentine’s Day is riiight in the middle of fashion week – so this flirty pink Kate Spade dress would be perfect for a dinner or lunch date but is also conservative enough for work.

Trendy Party Dress..

Hunter green is one of my favorite colors to wear. I typically don’t love a bunch of cut-outs in dresses or tops, but for some reason I don’t mind them on this dress. I paired it with these very (very) comfortable open-toe booties that are great for this transitional season and a cream studded valentino cross body.

Coffee Date Casual..

I have a few brand meetings scheduled throughout the week that this outfit is perfect for. This Alice & Olivia top is so cute!

I always rave about Trunk Club, so I’ll do it once more just incase you haven’t heard about them yet. It’s a free men and women’s personal styling service that ships a ‘trunk’ full of items to your doorstep, allows you to try them all on in the comfort of your home, keep what you want, send back what you don’t, and you are only charged for the items you keep. Absolutely no service, styling or shipping fees.

If you’re planning any upcoming trips, looking to update your wardrobe, or just wanting a free personal stylist to help dress you within the comfort of your home – this is the best way to do it. Contact Kelsey here to get started on your first trunk.

Enjoy your Super Bowl Sunday!
