Valentine’s Day has always been one of my favorite holidays. I know a lot of people dread it, and I’m sure I hated it the years when I was single drinking a glass of wine in bed, but there’s nothing I love more than celebrating love! Although you should be celebrating each other every day, it’s nice to have a night when you two are just completely focused on each other 🙂
Aside from all that mushy stuff, let’s talk about my new favorite ‘little black dress’. I love how conservative and simple it is in the front, yet daring and interesting in back. I found this lbd at Urban Outfitters and added my own black sash to the middle to make it fit a little bit better. Of course I had to match my shoes to my lipstick, so I threw on a pair of Vince Camuto Charlotte pumps in bright red. A black leather Dolce Vita clutch and diamond cluster bracelet complete this v-day date night look.
Anyone doing anything special for Valentine’s day this year? I think I’m going to attempt to cook dinner for us that night, suggestions on good homemade dishes??
