Hi guys! Thanks for being patient with me while my website issues get resolved. I’m in the process of working with a development team to optimize the site and create a few new features. My old site had a few problems with slow loading time, compatibility, etc. but the new one should be up and running perfectly very soon.

This past weekend my parents came in town to visit and we had such a good time! The weather was so beautiful – perfect for drinks on a rooftop bar in Wicker Park. I showed them around my neighborhood and they got to see what we’ve done to our apartment since June when we all moved in.  I love having them so close to Chicago – it’s only about an hour and a half drive from my place to their house back in Indiana, so weekend trips are so easy!

This new maxi dress from The Pink Lily is so unique – the deep slit and neckline totally make the dress. Tie-dye prints are so trendy right now – I’m seeing it on everything from clothes to pillows! This dress is already almost sold out, so I linked similar ones in the shop widget below. I love how this print now has a sophisticated vibe – it’s no longer just a pattern from the past. This is a great dress to wear really anywhere on the weekends while the weather is still pretty hot. I’m wearing a size small that’s just a little big on me because I usually wear XS, but the adjustable tie strap in the back helped make it fit correctly. I paired this with my favorite black accessories: black Karen Walkers, my new black watch, a suede Rebecca Minkoff crossbody, and Sole Society wedges. Hope everyone is enjoying their Monday night, don’t forget to check out my most recent playlist here.
