Trunk Club Appointment

A while ago I shared my first Trunk Club experience with you guys,  and was pleasantly surprised. Not that I didn’t think it would be a great service, but surprised that my stylist was able to handpick items I liked and that fit correctly – I am SO picky and not much taller than most 5th graders, so Kelsey from TC is my hero.

If you didn’t read my last post about TC: it’s a free men and women’s personal styling service that ships a ‘trunk’ full of items to your doorstep, allows you to try them all on in the comfort of your home, keep what you want, send back what you don’t, and you are only charged for the items you keep. Absolutely no service, styling or shipping fees.

Today I’m sharing my experience with something that Trunk Club offers for girls/guys in the Chicago area – in house styling appointments. I spent Saturday afternoon at Trunk Club Women in downtown Chicago hanging out in their gorgeous urban space, sipping champagne, talking with the TC stylists, and trying on new outfits for spring/summer.

They treat you like a queen and dress you up like one too. You have your own dressing space and a personalized clothing rack of items in your size and style. It’s such a good way to ‘shop’ because not only is everything so convenient, but you also have a friend there telling you what looks good and what doesn’t! A lot of things I tried on would completely wipe out my bank account, but it’s always just fun to play dress up, right?! Here some of the outfits we put together and the things I took home with me:

Bonus: if you purchase something during an in-house appointment, Trunk Club has a seamstress on site to tailor anything you want fixed – free of charge! A petite girls dream!
