After moving to Chicago two months ago, I’ve been working on putting together my bedroom to make it into a cozy and glamorous space. I work from home, and my room is where I spend a lot of my time, so I wanted to make it into something I absolutely loved living in.
Interior design has always been one of my passions and I have dreams to one day do more with design and decorating – but right now I’m lucky enough to have a beautiful 3 story home to beautify in the heart of Chicago! I’ve done my best to provide links to the exact items in my room below the images (or very similar options!).
Ivory Tufted King Bed (also available in a queen) // Blue & White Spotted Anthropologie Jumpsuit (size 00 Petite, regular & petite) // Nude Stecy Heels
My gorgeous ivory tufted bed is A DREAM. I’ve always been in love with how elegant and sophisticated tufted headboards look, so I figured it was time to commit to my own big girl bed! And by big girl I mean a king.. yep, all 4’11” of me in a king size bed, makes sense right? A little obnoxious – but, it was the best decision ever.
Champagne Nightstands from Horchow // Similar Matching Gold Lamps // Large White Quartz Crystal // Black + White Lacquer Boxes // Small Lucite Sculpture // Ritz Hotel Tray filled with Rose Quartz // Elements of Style Book // Love Style Life Book // Similar Ornate Frame // Amethyst Crystals // Acrylic box with crystal
The champagne nightstands with mirrored detail compliment the headboard perfectly. The champagne finish was exactly what I was looking for and the mirrored accents added the perfect touch of glam. I worked with my favorite home decor company in Chicago, South Loop Loft, to find several of the accessory pieces in my room. My friend Beth is the owner, and we had such a great time finding inspiration together for the room! Bedside table accessories: sparkling geodes, pearls, acrylic accents, lacquer boxes, and my favorite style books. I love the detail on these lamps, but I shot the room before my crystal Ralph Lauren lamps got here – they came in yesterday and I’m in love!
White Bedding with embroidered border // Similar White Euro Shams // Dusty Pink Velvet Pillows // Similar Dusty Pink Blanket on Bed // White Bolster Pillow with embroidered dots (Bloomingdales) // 8 x 10 White Shag Rug (Now I have this rug in my room) // Anthropolgie Petal Hooks
I wanted the room to be light and feminine – so I used a lot of white, cream, blush pink, and a faint grey wall color to set the tone. I scored big time with the high ceilings and huge window – the natural light is amazing! I chose all white bedding and dusty pink velvet pillows to add some color. I covered the floor in a beautiful and incredibly soft white shag rug. (PS – I tried out the whole bed-in-a-box thing with Tuft + Needle and I have to say it’s SO comfortable (and convenient for moving in the city).
Spotted Bench from Home Goods (similar options below) The bench fabric is available here // Chanel Book // Gold Urchin
The art above my bed is a Thom Saliot piece (no longer available) I’ve had my eye on for quite a while. I don’t know exactly what it is about this piece but I love the blended jewel tones and moody vibe. Sometimes with art, you just know when you know! I found this piece at One Kings Lane – shop their art collection here. The spotted end of bench bed was a great find from Home Goods – I love the way it adds a fun element to the room and ties in the darker colors from the art – similar options online here:
Similar Oversized Beveled Floor Mirror // Small Sheepskin Rug // 8 x 10 White Shag Rug // Blue & White Chinoiserie Vases: Large, Small
The oversized beveled floor mirror fits perfectly into the corner of the room, and I love the way it reflects all the light from the windows. I layered a small sheepskin rug over my shag right in front of the mirror. The blue and white porcelain in the window is one of my favorite moments – chinoiserie will never go out of style, it’s so classic! I love how the vases tie in some of the blue from the art.
Silver Mirrored Vanity // Small Neutral Feather Wall Flower // Large White Feather Wall Flower // Voluspa Laguna Candle // Vintage Handheld Mirror // Gold Tassel Earrings // Glass Trinket Box // The Little Dictionary of Fashion Book // The Gospel According to Coco Chanel Book // The Paris Style Guide Book // Crystal Earrings
I love the mix of eclectic and vintage accents styled around my vanity. The two feathered wall flowers are made of real bird feathers and add an interesting element to the bare walls. A collection of my favorite perfumes and gilded vintage trinkets created an elegant setting for getting ready for the day. I really love how the vanity looks at night with candle light reflecting off of the mirrored pieces!
I did my best to link to the exact items featured in my room or find very similar versions online. Please comment below with any questions you have, I’d be happy to answer! Thanks for stopping by to check out my bedroom reveal, I always love sharing my design projects with you guys! xoxo

Hi Joy! I picked them up at our cute grocery store in Chicago – it’s called Mariano’s. Not sure where you live, but Whole Foods and Costco have the best flowers!
Hi Olivia! I love your white blanket with the pom poms but I don’t see it on this post. I was just curious if it is still being sold/ where to buy?
