Although it’s currently blizzarding, the first day of spring is less than ONE week away. Time to start planning your spring & summer trips and get a head start on that bikini bod (byeee winter comfort food and ordering Chipotle on postmates 3x a week).

Living a healthy lifestyle has always been something that’s been really important to me – especially with gymnastics and cheerleading being such a big part of my life. I wanted to share some of my health and fitness habits I think really make a difference when it comes to maintaining my shape all year long:

1 / Eat breakfast every morning

2 / Download the ‘6 pack promise‘ app – I do 2 of these workouts when I’m at the gym

3 / Drink SO MUCH WATER. At least 10 glasses a day. You’ll see noticeable differences in 2-3 days.

4 / Get enough sleep every night – atleast 8 hours.

5 / A workout buddy to motivate you and hold you accountable.

6 / Make a motivating fitness playlist.

7 / Always do more reps than you think/feel you can do.

8 / Cardio. I hate it. But it’s the best exercise. I  do at least 20 minutes of cardio before every workout.

9 / If you can’t get yourself to the gym, workout at home (posting about the at home workouts I do soon).

10 / Keep only healthy snack food in your pantry.

Hi! Do you think you could post some of your favorite healthy snacks/meals that keep you from snacking on bad alternatives? Thanks!

Thank you for this! I have just started making sure I eat breakfast every morning and I have noticed such a difference in my appetite throughout the day! Maybe you could do a post about the healthy snack food you keep in your pantry? I always love a good healthy snack suggestion!

Great advice Olivia! Definitely agree with all of these. I always say you can never drink enough water! I need to work on cleaning out my pantry and having only healthy snacks and doing more cardio. Thanks for the tips!

Wow, I do not drink nearly as much water as I should. Thanks for the good advice!
