Hi guys! I had the opportunity to work with Virgin Hotels Chicago over the weekend and it was such a fun experience! This summer I’m going to be a part of their ‘step outside‘ program, where I’ll be the ‘fashionista personality‘ for the hotel – giving any guests who stay there a heads up on all things fashion and shopping to do nearby..
The hotel is right in the heart of Chicago’s historic loop, so it’s ideal if you’re coming to the city for a few nights and want to be in the middle of all the action. The rooms are so cute and practical with two separate closets, a huge shower, and a good view. They even have a little vanity for getting ready with GREAT LIGHTING (very important am I right). And you know I was impressed with the sliding shoe racks..

On Saturday, Virgin Hotels celebrated their our one year anniversary of Cerise opening (their rooftop bar) with a cool neon art exhibit and concert. I’ve been to lots of rooftops in the city but this one was so awesome – you get a 360 degree view and the eclectic decor gives the place so much personality. Next time you’re in the area stop by and order the sangria!!
Friday night – my mom, aunt, cousin Jessi and her fiancé came in to town to for the night and we got drinks before heading to dinner at Bar Siena (amazing) in the West Loop. All Virgin Hotel guests get free drinks during their 7-8 happy hour daily, bonus!! Rob – one of my best friends – flew in for a few days and we hung out with the girls who live in my soon-to-be apartment all weekend. I also just found out one of my best friends (Jess) that I worked with as a bridal consultant in KY is going to be one of my roommates!! We’re so excited because we’ve always talked about being roommates in Chicago and now it’s actually happening! At first I was a little nervous about moving to a new city, but everything is falling into place and just feels right. I can’t wait to show you guys more of the apartment – I’m in love with our majestic front doors! (below)
