I have the day off work so I’m running errands and exploring this cool new city I’m living in! I started the morning off with my new workout routine I’m planning on sticking with this whole month until our Mexico trip in December – nice motivation, right? As much as I love wearing skirts and dresses, this time of year it’s just too darn cold sometimes for bare legs. I am always, always cold, so one of my favorite things to do is layer clothing. I hope you all have a great first day of the week, I know Mondays can be hard to get through. This morning’s devotion was a good one so I thought I’d quickly share it with any of you needing a reminder of God’s presence in the midst of your busy morning.

Think of all the billions of people that have lived and are currently living on the earth today and that really gives you an idea of how great our God must be to possess such a wide variety of unique characteristics. Each one of us is so incredibly different, because each one of us possesses unique attributes of our Father in heaven. After reading this, I started to think of all the Christ-like qualities reflected in the people in my life.  He works through US to bring His love and light to the world and it is our responsibility to exercise these gifts. Sometimes when we’re feeling lonely, lost, and frustrated with unanswered prayers, we need to remember that God is literally working right beside us through our friends, coworkers, family members, and even random strangers we cross paths with. We were made to work together, pray together, talk about HIM together, and help each other in our search for peace and happiness in our time here on earth.
