Anyone remember last year when Conner and I impulsively bought a keyboard and guitar after seeing ‘A Star is Born’ 😅? Our two man band moment was short lived, but my Casio keyboard purchase rekindled my love for playing the piano.
My mom put me in lessons when I was 6. She’s incredibly talented at playing the piano and always told me it would be something I’d enjoy being able to do when I was older. She was right (shocker), and now I wish I would have stuck with it for longer than I did!
I’m definitely no Beethoven, but it’s been so fun to brush up on this old hobby of mine and do something creative that gets my mind off the stress this crazy year has caused. I know my fellow piano people would agree that playing is such a good way to unwind and a fun way to challenge yourself to reach a goal by learning a new song.
The Casio PRIVIA PX-S1000 is the perfect size for city living ~ but also looks beautiful set up in my parents house for the time being while we’re here! The elegant design and incredible sound quality are just a couple reasons why this is the best digital keyboard out there. You really won’t believe how authentic the tone and touch are – it’s like the grand piano I grew up playing. It weighs 25 lbs., which makes it so easy to move around to different areas of your house or apartment.
Privia digital pianos redefine the digital piano category with unprecedented sound quality and performance. It’s the perfect choice for every musician, no matter the level 🙂 You can find my exact keyboard online here (and it’s on sale today!).

Thank you to Casio for partnering with me on this post | photos by Alicia!
This is such a lovely giveaway and opportunity for piano players! I’ve never played but I grew up indulged in the arts (as a dancer and a School of the Arts student), so I love and have an appreciation for it all! That’s awesome that that movie inspired you both two pick up two instruments together. I loved A Star is Born!
