Alice + Olivia Dress (XS) | Black Heels | Earrings | St. Tropez Finishing Gloss | MV Bracelet 1 + MV Bracelet 2
The body gloss I use for photoshoots, on vacation, and with warm weather outfits: St. Tropez finishing gloss from Nordstrom’s beauty collection. My photographer Alicia brought this stuff to Cabo with us this year and I loved it! It’s a no-commitment wash-off formula that gives your skin instant high shine and a little bit of color. It was perfect for the beach and pool (especially for when we were shooting), but I also love wearing it on my legs and arms when going out at night.
Other body parts to highlight other than your face & how:
- Legs: Highlight a straight line down the center of your shins and thighs to make them not only look slimmer, but to give them a natural glow.
- Collarbone: Apply the gloss along the clavicle bone and use a powder brush to apply a powder highlight on top in horizontal sweeping motions.
- Shoulders: Apply the gloss in circular motions to the high points of your shoulders – the place where light naturally hits.
- Face: I always highlight with a skinny powder brush along the bridge of my nose and the tops of my cheeks up by my eyes.
For my tan, I typically get spray tans. But in-between appointments, I use the St. Tropez self tan express body mist from Nordstrom, and I love the color. I’ve also been meaning to try the self-tan body lotion that gradually builds a healthy looking tan that suits your skin tone.
I love this little Alice and Olivia sequin dress from Nordstrom. Perfect for a spring or summer wedding, or any special event you have coming up this year! These pictures were taken at one of Chicago’s hidden gems – the speakeasy behind Bodega Imports coffee shop. Thanks for stopping by, happy sunday!!

Loving this, it gives a pretty summer glow! On the body mist you use in between appointments do you use a mitt to rub or dab it in? And do you do just 1 or multiple coats? I just tried the St.Tropez express mouse and it didn’t turn out as great as I thought it would.
So this is the secret! I didn’t even know body gloss was a thing. These photos are absolutely stunning, Olivia!
