My New Obsession: Dyson’s Cordless Vacuum

To be honest, there are few things more therapeutic to me than a clean and organized house. When I have my apartment in order, for some reason everything else feels much more under control. Stressed? I clean the house. Sad? I clean the house. Happy? Yep, still cleaning. For those who can relate, I have a new product in my apartment that’s about to change your life & probably make you more OCD than you already are: this cordless vacuum from Dyson I found on eBay.com.

Let me take a minute to brag about this little guy I found in eBay’s Home & Garden section. Not only did I pay less for it on eBay than it’s sold for on the website, but it also came so quickly and was shipped in the smallest most convenient box (v important if you live in NYC or in a small space). The ease of use has made keeping the apartment clean and vacuumed easier than ever. It really is the best way to go when it comes to finding a vacuum for city living at a reasonable price. I found this one on eBay for $239! My favorite part of the vacuum may even be the handheld option I use for dusting – it literally picks up everything and the narrow attachment can reach any spot in the house. If you saw my Instagram caption tonight, I’m referencing this YoutTube video because it never gets old.

Studies have actually proven that keeping a clean house can produce a sense of accomplishment, happiness, and serenity. It turns out, cleaning actually allows you to practice mindfulness and meditation by giving you time to practice focusing. A clean home can lead to more production because there are less distractions and can also spark creativity.  When John and I are both working from home we both have sporadic cleaning moments when we grab the Dyson and walk around and vacuum – it’s therapeutic, I swear!  😂
