In FASHION

Here we go – another ‘5 things I love post’ for the month of December! These are five things that I think are completely worth spending your money on and have made it to the top of my list! All of these would also be great gift ideas if you are need of any last minute presents.

Side note – my favorite gift so far this year has been a book my best friend Linds sent me – “I Love You, Ronnie“. It’s a book full of the letters Ronald Reagan wrote to Nancy Reagan, to express his love, thoughts, and feelings, and to stay in touch. Linds said it’s so amazing you’ll pretty much cry after you read every page.. sounds like my kinda book, haha. I can’t wait to read it! You guys should get it (it’s on Amazon here) – you know the hopeless romantic in me will be writing about it on here sooner or later..

1. Aveda Travel Pack Mists

I love the scent of Aveda products and how they’re not over powering at all. This travel pack with 7 different balancing body mists is perfect for a just showered fresh & clean smell. My favorite part about the mists is spraying them on my pillows and sheets before I got to bed. I’m bringing these with me on vacation to Cabo next week – they’re the perfect size for travel! If you want to get this for a friend – it’s a great way for them to test all of the mists out before choosing a larger bottle of the one they love and use the most.

2. Fresh Face Masks

My roommates and I use these on nights when we’re sitting in the living room watching tv. We’ve tried all of them out and here are our top 3 picks and why:

Rose Mask: This one has a unique gel formula (it looks like brown jelly!) infused with real rose petals and pure rosewater – it’s meant to hydrates and tones your complexion.

Black Tea Mask: this one has advanced antioxidants and a hydrating treatment that immediately makes your skin feel softer, firmer, + healthier. This one is whipped and velvety and  has an immediate cooling effect.

Umbrian Clay Mask: this mask is good for normal to oily skin. It can also be used as a daily deep cleanser or to minimize small imperfections. It’s proven to significantly reduce the appearance of pores and mattify the skin without drying out the complexion.

3. Burberry Brit Eau de Toilette

MY FAVORITE. I always try new perfumes but just keep on going back to this one. Timeless, classic, fresh, and feminine.

4. Clinque Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush

I use it with my face wash to target my ‘T-zone’ for a really deep clean and the brush is so soft so it doesn’t cause any irritation. The vibration is gentle and lifts any excess makeup, dirt, and oil. It’s perfect for every day use and easy to pack when traveling! (There’s also one for men).

5. Aveda Rosemary Mint Body Polish

This is my mom’s favorite lotion and I love it too. It’s a gentle exfoliator for your whole body. I frequently get spray tans, so I always use this whenever the tan starts to fade and I need to even out and blotchy spots. It makes your skin so soft and is great to keep in your shower and use at least once a week. The rosemary and peppermint scent is sooooo goooood.
