Good morning! I was up early today getting things done before I leave on a two week trip to New York, then straight to Atlanta for a wedding! So.. if you see a girl at O’hare airport today with two bags that are bigger than her, say hi 🙂 This weather is so hard to pack for – is it going to be 30? Or is it going to be 65? Rain? Winter jacket? Open toe? Ahh! I’ll be posting some outfit ideas in NY this week for what to wear if you’re dealing with unpredictable weather.
But to give you one idea, this Bailey44 black long sleeve turtle neck top is going to be getting A LOT of use this winter. Extra soft, heavy stretch jersey is one of my favorite fabrics to wear because it’s so comfortable against your skin and heavy enough to keep you warm without making you too hot. You can style it so many different ways – with jeans, with a pencil skirt, or layered under a cardigan. The quality of the material is great and I love how flattering the fit is. I styled this in a very simple and sophisticated way. Dark blue jeans, simple black strappy heels, a black scarf, and cute drop earrings. Everything single item is linked below the images. And speaking of waking up early.. I am not usually a really early riser. But, I’m on day 5 of Whole30 right now and the first thing I’ve noticed is that I’m not groggy at all in the mornings when I wake up. I have way more energy and it’s making my mornings so much more enjoyable and productive. I’m so excited for a long trip to New York City. It will be so great to have a full week together with Conner in the city. Looking forward to actually being together in person instead of facetiming! I love these dark wash jeans! I’ve been looking for a pair myself and have yet to find the perfect shade of blue. These though look great – perfect for dressing up or down. The darker shade is just so classy!
