First day of August, I’m so excited! Summer is always pretty busy and crazy for everyone, but I don’t have too many travel plans this month so I’m looking forward to being all settled back into our house and enjoying the warm weather in the city. You know we don’t get too much of that here in Chicago!
I’m wearing one of my favorite outfits I’ve put together lately by J.O.A. I found online at Revolve. This skirt is the cutest – and when I saw there was a top that matched the color of the dotted stripes so I had to order them both! I’m wearing an XS in the skirt and the fit is pretty snug (I’m typically a 00 for reference). This is a great outfit idea for a summer party or event. I wore it out to dinner with some girlfriends to Girl and the Goat last weekend and got so many compliments on it. J.O.A. is a brand I came across recently that has so many cute outfits for summer – I linked a lot of my other favorites from the collection below:

You look so confident in front of the camera. How long did it take you to feel comfortable taking pictures in public? I’m a newer blogger and that’s something I struggle with. It makes me uncomfortable when people stare when you’re trying to get an awesome picture.
I can see why you got so many compliments its a fabulous feminine twist on a men’s pinstriped suit! Love the bow detailing.
