Just got out of the car and unpacked my suitcase from a long weekend  in Ohio for my cousin Gabby’s wedding. It was an outdoor ceremony & reception with the prettiest setting and the most gorgeous color scheme. Gabby looked incredible in her fluted lace gown – I posted a lot of pictures on story if you missed it! I don’t get to see my mom’s side of the family as often as I see my dad’s side (who all live in my parent’s hometown), so it was so good to all be together. My mom is the oldest of 7 kids, so I have a total of 25 (!!) cousins on that side of the family. Gabby was the first cousin to get married which was so fun for us to all experience – there’s never a dull moment when the Jones side of the fam gets together! I have a feeling the next decade will be packed with weddings.

This semi-casual denim look is an outfit idea I put together from the Express Petite’s collection. Adding a belt to high-waisted bottoms or a dress instantly makes it more flattering by cinching in your waist. This mini gold studded bucket bag ties in the gold from my belt & earrings, and simple suede heels add a feminine touch.
