Working a job where I have to be on my feet all day can be a little restricting as far as shoe choice goes, so it’s nice to be able to pull out some of my favorite heels for a Saturday date. The dress I’m wearing is from Karabootique, an online shop with several cute pieces to choose from [instagram @karabootique]. I love the cut of this dress – it ruffles in the front and drapes down the sides creating the look of two separate pieces. A chiffon scarf and quilted Kate Spade bag complete this feminine look.

I just moved downtown SLC last week, so Chris and I decided to take the scenic route and walk from my apartment to brunch in the city. About two blocks from my apartment is this beautiful cathedral that was built in 1899. It has an incredible Romanesque exterior and Gothic interior. Not a bad view from my bedroom window!
