9 times out of 10 you’ll find in me in a dress. That’s why I love spring and summer clothes so much – outfits are easy, feminine, and comfortable. I’ve been looking for transitional dresses to wear through the upcoming season change, and ended up finding a few great options from ModCloth.

Navy is such a solid color option for dresses this time of year. I’ve seen so many September/October bridal parties wear navy over the years – it’s great for early fall, before we go back to black for the winter. This dress I’m wearing would be a great wedding guest dress to an early fall wedding. The crocheted ivory lace down the sides of the dress is such a pretty detail, and I love the form-fitting silhouette and cap-sleeve top.

I’m wearing a size 8 UK which translates to a size small. I usually wear an 00, so it was little big on me so I had a few alterations done in the length and waist.
