Night out in Manhattan in Emerald Velvet

There are certain colors that blondes can definitely rock – and emerald is absolutely one of them. There’s something so elegant about green & gold together. I was looking for an outfit I could wear to an evening show and then straight out to the Rewardstyle party – and thought this one from Foi Clothing was perfect! If I were you – I’d snag this one early before it sells out, it’s the PERFECT HOLIDAY DRESS. It will be good to have in your closet so you’re not frantically searching last minute for something to wear to that annual Christmas party! I’m wearing a size small with only a couple inches taken off the bottom. The material is stretchy and flattering. You’ll absolutely love this dress! Funny story – so, getting in to shows during fashion week is all about who you know right? But, I really wanted to go to the Jonathan Simkhai show. I was really close to moving to NYC right out of college to intern for Jonathan Simkhai when he was JUST starting out. After a lot of attempts to remember the password for my college e-mail, I finally got in and found my old email convo between Jonathan and I from 2013 (!!). I e-mail him on this personal email, told him I’d love to attend his show, followed up a couple times, AND GUESS WHO got into the Simkhai show??  Just another little example of how going the extra mile and being scrappy to make things happen always pays off in the end 🙂 Hope your week is off to a good start, thanks for reading!
