Starting Monday morning off with some scalloped edges and bold hot pink accents. I’ll take any chance I can get to get dressed up in something feminine & flirty – I wore this to a night out with some girl friends back at home I’ve been missing so much! Girls, you will totally love this topshop skirt, it’s stretchy and looks good with so many different top options – and it comes in white and black (just ordered the white one)! I spent about 2 hours in the Topshop store on Michigan Avenue last week – you guys have got to check out their stuff right now, I wanted everything and they have an entire petites section! My top is from Pitaya (a really cute and affordable store in Bucktown Chicago) but unfortunately it’s sold out so I linked two similar options above.
When I was getting ready the other night, I was having trouble finding a clutch to wear with this outfit. As you guys have seen a little bit on Instagram, I’m living with the classiest, most fashionable, grandma on earth. She loves helping me come up with new outfit ideas and putting looks together – so when I told her I was struggling with purse options – she walked right in to her closet and pulled out this perfect grey suede clutch! So.. basically I can share a closet with my 78 year old grandma, how many people can say that??
Today I’m leaving to head back out to the west coast for a trip to Seattle with Chris’s family! Part of the time we’ll be staying in the city and the other days we’re staying at their family’s cottage on Camano Island. I think we might even take a trip to Vancouver one of the days! I was just at the Topshop in Chicago and went 4 different times while I was there…whoops! I tried on that skirt in the black but didn't buy it since I might order it on Nordstrom instead. I love the stripes though! I work at Pitaya in Bloomington and we have that top right now! I love the scallops together!
