Snowball at The Field Museum 2018

Happy Sunday! We had such a good time last night at Snowball at The Field Museum. Conner and I loved our experience so much last year that we made sure he was in town again for this year’s event. If you missed my Instagram stories about it, Snowball is the Junior Council’s annual black tie gala. It’s an awesome party for young professionals in Chicago with a live band, open bar, food tastings from dozens of Chicago’s premier restaurants, and dancing. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the Pediatric and Adolescent HIV & AIDS Programs at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

Thanks to all of you who helped me pick my dress this year! I loved this royal blue Mac Duggal gown so much! I’m wearing a size 0 with minor alterations in the bodice and had to get about 5 inches taken off the hem (I’m 4’11” wearing 5 inch heels for reference). And loved all the messages from my Kentucky girls about repping the UK blue 🙂 We lucked out with almost a 50 degree day in January, so taking pictures downtown actually wasn’t too cold! I told him I just wanted to get a few pictures of us all dressed up before Snowball on a private rooftop. Well.. the rooftop was locked so option #2 was shooting in front of the Chicago Theater. It was actually so fun shooting this with Alicia. Not exactly the most low key shoot, but he was such a trooper 😉 Thanks for stopping by!
