Usually I hate when my flight gets delayed, but it worked out tonight because now I have a few extra minutes to get this travel post up before I take of for Vegas for the week! I spent the weekend at a great blogger/branding conference in Chicago that was extremely helpful and gave me the chance to meet so many cool girls (working on a recap/outfit post for that one!).
I’ve been traveling quite a bit, so I thought I’d put a little post together about my travel style:
Grey Ruffled Sweater 15% off, wearing S/M | Petite Ripped Jamie Jeans (great for short girls!) | Leopard Flats | Samsonite Spin Tech 29″ Suitcase – 50% off, major sale! | Jared Satchel in Chamomile | Renting these Sunglasses here (use code OLIVIA15 when you sign up to rent these for free for the 1st month!) | Meagan Gilbert Photography
First, let’s talk about this suitcase. For one thing, I don’t know what it means to ‘pack light’ – especially if I’m going on a trip where I need to shoot 6-8 full outfits. So, this Samsonite suitcase makes my life a little easier and was the best investment I’ve made in a long time (but you guys are SO lucky because now it’s 50% off). It is extremely light (8 lbs) and I love the sleek black design. So for all you over-packers out there, this suitcase is a lifesaver.
Somehow they let me through check-in today with a 53 pound bag (thanks United!) without having to pay the extra fee.. lucked out. And did you guys see those kid’s suitcases you can ride on my snapchat (oliviamrink)? Can they please make those for adults??
For this post I wanted to share my favorite flats to travel in, but I will admit – I’m one of those crazy people you will occasionally see in the airport wearing heels. This outfit is comfortable, casual, and warm – good for cold planes and long flights! These Topshop jeans are great because they’re pretty stretchy (I love all of topshop’s jeans) and this sweater is the cutest little ruffled thing from Chicwish – soft, elegant, and feminine! Thanks for reading, if you have any good dinner suggestions/things to do in Vegas leave me a comment below – I’d love to hear! xoxo

Those bags do exist for adults! Motorized version..just what the airport needs.

Enjoy Vegas!
I don’t know what “packing light” means either! Can’t wait for your recap post about the blogging conference; all the posts looked like it was so helpful and fun. Have a great time in Vegas!

The high roller in Vegas is amazing!! There is a groupon for it that makes it much less expensive. It was my favorite thing I did the whole trip! Have fun! 🙂
I LOVE this weekend look! So chic and full of personality – your leopard flats are everything.
