In ADVICE + THOUGHTS, DECOR

Hi guys, it’s been a while! Fashion week took over for about 6 days, but I’m finally get back to normal(ish) life and had some exciting news to share with you..

I’m officially turning the page to the next chapter ~ welcome to my New York City apartment 🗽!! I’m so excited to take you guys along on this adventure. I’ll be back and forth between here and my first love (Chicago) but felt like if there was ever a time to move to NYC.. it’s now! It’s been a little over a week now and I’m already hooked – the buzz, the views and the opportunities are endless 💫I moved over labor day weekend – right before fashion week craziness – so I had a little bit of time to get settled and can’t wait for my first free weekend officially all moved in. I’m so happy to finally be in the same city as Conner and also so glad I’m making the move with one of my best friends in the world, John! I’ve been flirting with the idea of New York for a while, and can’t believe it’s finally happening. I’m excited to experience high rise life for the first time in lower Manhattan (the views are insane 😵). Follow along with me this year as I show you what it’s like to move & live in NY ♥️ And anyone that lives here or has in the past, comment below with your favorite spots! Here’s a quick look at the apartments views – completely empty now but can’t wait to make it feel like home. Stay tuned!

xo, liv

Congrats, Olivia!! I’m a little biased, but NYC is such an amazing adventure and place to get the opportunity to live. I hope you have SO much fun!! Here is a list of my absolute favorite food spots and restaurants in the city, after living in Manhattan for 3 years and having eaten at over 500 places. https://www.fifteenspatulas.com/where-to-eat-in-nyc/ Enjoy!

How wonderful! I’m so excited and really jealous of you! Within recent years, and ending my college years, I have really been playing with the idea of moving to NYC for career experience. You are literally living my dream and I am so excited to read your posts about your new life in the city. I visited the city in mid August with my dad… just the two of us!.. for a short weekend trip before school started up again. We went all over lower Manhattan and walked all the way up to Central Park (we were in so much pain!) But while we were there we were able to hit up a Broadway theatre and coincidentally see Bernadette Peters perform as Dolly in Hello Dolly. If there is anything I could suggest from my trips to the Big Apple, I’d entirely recommend taking advantage of seeing a Broadway show… regardless if you enjoy the show or not, at least you can brag about who you saw perform. 🙂 I’m so excited for you, and your apartment views are stunning!
