The Boots I’ll Be Wearing All Winter

I bought these Stuart Weitzman boots almost a month ago thinking we were about to get some fall weather.. but here we are on October 4th with 70-80 degree weather??! Can’t really complain too much because I’ll take all the warm weather we can get, but I’m just looking for an excuse to pull out the Stuarts! Like I mentioned in this post, I splurged on these boots but I normally wouldn’t spend this much on shoes. But, I’ve been looking for a solid pair of OTK boots to wear throughout winter that are tight enough to stay up on my leg and not bunch around the ankle. These have been the only ones that hit at the right spot on my legs. I usually wear a 5.5 or 6 and I ordered a 5.5 in these – they will stretch out a little!

I styled the boots with this cute little plaid mini dress from Urban Outfitters. The straps are adjustable and I love the plaid tweed fabric for fall. I’m wearing a size XS and if fit perfectly and was short enough to show a little bit of leg in between the skirt and the boots. I paired the dress with a leather jacket but it would also look cute with a black cardigan like this one I just ordered. I’m heading down to Lexington, Kentucky first thing tomorrow morning for my meet and greet tomorrow night at Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James store from 6:00-8:00.
