Happy Labor Day Weekend! I just landed in Chicago after a spending the past few days in Nashville for my cousin’s bachelorette party – that city never disappoints! We rented out a beautiful house right in 12 South that was just a few blocks away from the cutest little shops and restaurants. The Draper James store (from this recent post) was right along our street so I stopped in to see all of Reese Witherspoon’s designs in person. My favorite spots from the weekend were: The Frothy Monkey for coffee, Bartaco – great food & fun vibe, and Flip Side for brunch (get the strawberry shake!).

If you’re planning a bachelorette party in Nashville any time soon I definitely recommend doing the pedal-bike with your bridesmaids, that was seriously the highlight of the weekend (we tried to bribe them to give us a couple extra hours.. didn’t work, haha). We used this company (I recommend giving your driver a playlist beforehand – they are weird about what songs you can listen to). Also, you can’t beat Acme‘s rooftop view!

I’m using the rest of the holiday weekend to get caught up on some projects I’ve been working on and to start getting things organized for New York Fashion Week later this week. I love this printed romper I’m wearing above – it’s perfect for a lazy weekend. The cut-out shoulders, draped neckline, and soft fabric make this super casual but chic. I wore it with heels last week when I was getting some work done at the Hampton Social and this weekend again with gold gladiator sandals.
