Classic Black

Hello everyone! So after talking myself in and out of it over 100 times, I’ve decided to give it a try and start my own little blog. The idea of having a creative outlet fueled by the things I’m passionate about seemed exciting and challenging. Lovely Little Style is a place to document my personal fashion sense and really anything I find to be inspiring and beautiful! I think style encompasses more than just the clothes you see but can also be found in culture, people, art, photography, food, music, etc.

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m very short.. 4’11” short. I will have several ‘petite posts’ talking about certain brands and styles that work best for petite women! Also, in the future I hope to do a few tutorials including hair & beauty tips. My family, friends, and my faith have shaped me in to the person I am today and will be included in posts from time to time. I hope you enjoy this peek into a little part of me and the people, places, and things I love.

Similar dress, Watch, Shoes, Lipstick

There is nothing I love more than the simplicity of a dress. There’s no worrying about matching a top to a bottom or fussing with pants (hate pants). I’m definitely guilty of over-wearing this dress, but it’s such a great option for so many different occasions. I recently wore this outfit to my interview at Alice Lane Home Collection in downtown SLC. Not sure if the attire helped at all but I ended up landing the job with this incredible company and I am loving being a part of their awesome team!

My favorite part of the outfit is for sure the Enzo Angiolini pumps. The houndstooth pattern on the toes caught my eye right away and I’m obsessed with pointed toe pumps. My Burberry watch (online here) is one of my favorite accessories. I love the neutral colors in the band because it matches so many different outfits. ‘East Hamptons Cottage’ by Essie is my go-to for nail color. MAC ‘Flat Out Fabulous’ lipstick adds the perfect pop of fuchsia to this all black look.
