In ADVICE + THOUGHTS

“The mystery is that God is not so much an object of our knowledge as the cause of our wonder.”

Our ability to wonder, think, and act for ourselves is a gift from God. You could read the entire bible front to back, over and over again, and still have hundreds of questions about who He is. We can’t imagine a God that loves us so much that he’d send his only Son to earth to die to correct our mistakes, we can only be so thankful. As Christians, it’s not our job to provide answers to every question. I definitely don’t have all the answers, but I drove myself crazy a few times trying to figure it all out. But I really don’t think ‘figuring it all out’ is necessarily what He expects from us. Our job is to embrace the mystery and to continue to invite Him into our lives each day and share little pieces of His love with others. Thy mystery can seem complicated, but Christ’s teachings were simple.Take time this weekend to talk about Him and His love for us with the people you love. Life has so much more meaning when you invite Him into yours. Happy Friday, love you all. xo
