Black on black is the New York City dress code, so I styled this head-to-toe look with Nordstrom for my trip to NYC last week (Nordstrom is having a 40% off fall clearance sale right now). This outfit has three of my all-time favorite pieces:

The Faux Leather Jacket – I’ve been looking everywhere for a black tailored leather jacket for winter and finally came across this one I found at Nordstrom last week and it’s perfect. The feminine cut is great for wearing over top of dresses or with jeans and it also comes in brown.

The Black Suede Crossbody – I’ve had this one for a while now and always end up wearing it with everything. The soft leather, tassel detail, faux suede, and casual feel make it the perfect winter cross body that’s big enough to fit everything you need.

Topshop Jeans – I’ve mentioned it so many times before, but Topshop jeans are my favorite! It’s one of the only places I can find jeans that actually fit, look good, and are comfortable.
