I can’t wait for next week. My mom’s side of the family lives all over the midwest (Ohio, Michigan, Indiana) so we dedicate two holidays to get together to celebrate: Thanksgiving and the 4th of July. My mom is the oldest of 7 kids, so every time we get together it’s a big party with some good old family traditions – intense games of Pictionary, bottomless bags of Snyder’s BBQ chips, bottles of Meomi wine, and an annual connect 4 tournament . I’m the second oldest cousin (next to my older brother) of 27 grand kids and it’s so much fun. I will forever want a big family of my own after growing up with such a big extended family. The more the merrier!
I partnered with a boutique I love, Shop LaVille, to put together three different outfit ideas for Thanksgiving day: a casual navy velvet shift, classic maroon lace dress, and off the shoulder top. Whether you’re going for cute and casual or aiming to be more on the fancier side, here are three ideas for each occasion:
Trendy
Burnout Strap Dress in Navy (size xs, runs a little big) | Ribbed Turtleneck Top | Eloise Crossbody with Gold Tassel || Black Pointed Toe Pumps | Panty Hose | Banana Republic Bracelet (new favorite piece!)
Classic
Burgundy Lace Cocktail Dress (size 0) | Faux Fur Stole | Eloise Crossbody with Gold Tassel | Black Pointed Toe Pumps | Lipstick: Mac Rebel
Casual
Off-the-shoulder Plaid Top (wearing xs) | Vince Camuto ‘Fermel’ Slouch Tassel Boots | Topshop Indigo Jamie Jeans | Henri Bendel Uptown Mini Satchel in Taupe | Calypso Boutique Choker (similar here)
LaVille is offering 15% off your holiday outfit orders with code OLIVIA15 at checkout! Push through this week and one week from tomorrow you’ll be enjoying the people you love and some great food. xoxo
