In FASHION, TRAVEL

WOW. Life!!!

I haven’t written on here in a LONG time and I’ve missed it, things have been BUSY! I went straight from a two week trip in Europe, to getting home to New York and getting ENGAGED. It’s been one of the busiest and happiest months of my entire life. It’s been so nice to just soak in all the happiness of the last two weeks up with Conner and our family and friends. I’m definitely going to be writing more about all of that (engagement and wedding planning tings!), but tonight I’m rewinding back to Portugal and Rome so I can share my outfits and travel details with you guys 🙂 If you missed these trips on Instagram, you can go watch both of my most recent story highlights titled Rome / Libson at the top of my profile here.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in both Lisbon and Rome. I traveled with three of my best friends (John, Alicia, and Justin – and Travis met us for a few days!) and as you know, who you travel with makes all the difference! I visited Porto, Portugal last year with John, but this year we visited Lisbon – which was one of the most colorful places I’ve ever seen. We stayed at the cutest little hotel – The Vintage Lisbon – and pretty much just ate and drank our way around the city.

A few, must-do’s while in Lisbon:

Memmo Alfama Rooftop drinks with gorgeous view & pool

Time Out Market Lisbon

Drinks on patio at Memmo Príncipe Real

Bonjardim – great dinner spot

Day trip to Sintra – we did Pena Palace and loved it so much

LX Factory – cute little cobblestone area to browse and eat in

Photo at the Pink Street (Rua Nova do Carvalho, 1200-372 Lisboa, Portugal)

Rome was absolutely everything I thought it would be. We had wine and pasta for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – gelato and Aperol spritz daily….and my stomach has never been happier. I lived on Cacio de Pepe.. which if you’ve never had, PLEASE go to your nearest Italian restaurant and order it immediately. Exploring Rome felt like stepping back in time, every corner of the city was a perfect photo moment. The architecture, history, and the people made it a city I’ll never forget. We found the perfect little centrally-located hotel with the nicest staff: InTown Luxury Roma. Alicia and I LOVED every minute of shooting in Rome. Sharing what we captured below along with my suggestions…

A few must-do’s while in Rome:

IL Melarancio was our favorite spot to eat, we came back here like 5+ times lol. But honestly, every single random place we stopped at for meals on the street around the Spanish Steps area were great.

Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Colosseum were my favorites. Sad we didn’t make it to The Vatican – next time~!

Villa Borgehese – explore the beautiful gardens

Giolitti – best Gelato spot

L’Antica Enoteca – cute outdoor seating & loved the vibe

Club Derri̬re Рa chic speakeasy we loved!
