I come from a family of some pretty incredible women who have had a huge influence on the person I am today. One in particular, my grandmother (Nani), has set an impeccable example of how a truly classy, sophisticated, and fabulous woman should live.. and dress. I look forward to our coffee dates where she gives advice about anything from wardrobe essentials to how I should never, ever..ever walk alone in parking lot late at night. I remember getting ready for church on Sundays and my mom saying “kids make sure Nani will approve of what you’re wearing” – she’s a stickler about formal dress and is always dressed to the nines.

This past weekend, she let me borrow her quilted ‘Caviar Classic‘. It’s timeless, iconic, and still as much of a luxury item as it was back in the 1950s. The Chanel flap may be the most well-known designer handbag in the industry.
