Thank you to Cascade for partnering with me on this post! All opinions are my own.

If you’ve been following along on Instagram lately, you’ve probably noticed the Rink fam takes the holidays very
seriously 😜🎅🏼🎄 Every year my parents go all out on decorating the house which is one of so many other holiday
traditions we’ve been repeating year after year.

Christmas baking with my mom is something I look forward to every year in December. Baking festive lil treats for friends & family is an inexpensive, yet thoughtful, way to spread the holiday love. But with lots of baking, comes LOTS of clean up…so this year, we’re partnering with Cascade Platinum to tackle the holiday cleanup as a family while saving water. I recently learned hand washing dishes with a running sink (and turns out most people end up leaving the sink running when hand washing dishes) uses 4 gallons of water every 2 minutes, while a dishwasher uses less than 4 gallons of water in an entire cycle. This holiday season, we’re planning to run the dishwasher nightly to save 100 gallons of water a week. The most important holiday cleanup job this year? Whoever’s in charge of buying the Cascade Platinum 🙌🏼

Cascade wants to help your family save water while making the holiday cleanup easier this year. They’re
partnering to give away a dishwasher and a year’s supply of Cascade Platinum to 100 families! More info on

The holidays feel even more special this year with all the time we’ve been able to spend at home. I haven’t
spent this much time at my parent’s house since high school, so it’s been so great to get all this extra time with
them 🥺 It’s been such a good reminder that even when things don’t go the way you planned, there are always
unexpected blessings in life’s twists and turns.

Once the house is all decorated and it starts to snow (which we can always expect a lot of here in Indiana!), my
mom’s house is the perfect setting for a cozy day of baking. Just add my favorite oldies playlist
(linked here) or Rink Christmas playlist (linked here). I found these cute holiday aprons on Amazon, here + here. Sharing 3 of our favorite holiday baking treats we cooked up this year…
