Express Petite Trench Coat in Grey (wearing xxs petite, also comes in black) 30% right now! | Textured Blanket Scarf | Steve Madden Suede Naomi Booties in black (also in taupe) | Perverse Sunglasses | Similar Petite 00 Jeans
I know my petite girls will agree with me on this one, but there’s nothing better than ordering something online and knowing you’ll be able to wear it right away, with no alterations. Thanks to the Express Petite collection, I found the perfect trench for fall/winter.
Last year I waited too long to find a good trench – everything was either sold out or not available in my size. So I made it a priority to find a good one this year before temps dropped too low. This wool blend belted trench coat is available in both regular here and petite here. I’m wearing a xxs petite (I typically wearing size 00 and so this fit perfectly). It’s so warm, flattering , feminine, and timeless. Perfect to wear all season and also comes in black. I’ll be wearing it with both dresses and pants – it’s a such a great staple item for colder months.
95% of the time I am always cold, so the blanket scarf trend is one of my favorites. I styled the scarf wrapped around the outside of the trench when I wore this downtown last week.. and I kinda liked how it looked so I kept it! I’m also showing how it can be worn as a wrap on it’s own. I love the wintery pattern and fringe details. I posted the taupe version of these so many times on my Instagram (here) and loved them so much I had to get them in black too. They’re my favorite shoes to wear right now because they’re so easy to slip on with jeans, a skirt, or a dress. I’m usually in between a 5.5 and 6 and the 6 fits perfectly. I wear them with no-show socks or barefoot.
Big shout out to Nani for the vintage Chanel bag I’ll be guarding with my life! I’m spending the rest of this weekend and most of next week in Chicago – loving being home for fall. It’s so beautiful here right now with all the changing leaves! Thanks for reading, almost friday! xo
